We assist our residents into transitional living
programs only after the benefits of long term
residential living. Our objective is designed to
increase the probability that our guests will
continue with their long term recovery. To meet
this goal, we provide a peer driven, home like
setting that helps to enhance and sustain the
recovery process. This process includes continued
counseling, learning of life skills training, learning
how to assimilate back into society, developing
effective relapse prevention strategies, twelve step
programming, and engaging in activities not
associated with substance abuse. An individual
benefiting from these services provided at
Temperance Hall through transitional living
programs will likely have a greater opportunity to
develop and practice these new skills and cultivate
the Faith, Hope and Trust needed to sustain their
new found freedom. Once a guest has successfully
integrated back into society, they are always welcome
to come back “home” to Temperance Hall to
revisit friendships, enlist support, and get a
nutritious hot meal. Our door is always open.
